In the course of cooperation with the
Zhytomyr Regional State Administration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia and the Novoboriv institution for children and youth with developmental disabilities, our Agency helped to write a grant for the reconstruction of part of the institution’s premises in the Novoboriv community and this application won🌟
Briefly about the institution:
1️⃣The institution provides a full range of social services for children and youth under the age of 35.
2️⃣The institution has 13 children under the age of 18 and 47 youth over 18 who are deprived of parental care by a court decision.
The institution needed a qualitative improvement in the conditions of the children’s stay on the institution’s territory, which is why our agency could not avoid this need.
The grant will improve the conditions for a comfortable stay of children and youth in the institution. We expect the first results of the work this spring.
The project envisages the arrangement of the
Nova Borova orphanage building for permanent residence of boys with disabilities aged 4 to 18. This will create conditions to meet their immediate needs and ensure their harmonious development.
The Novoborovske orphanage is located in Zhytomyr Oblast. More information about the institution can be found here:

The Regional Development Agency joins this important social project by facilitating the organization and planning of its implementation.
The following issues were discussed during the meeting:
- current responsibilities of the participants
- project implementation plan;
- list of required documents for the donor;
- plan for submitting bids;
- social aspects of the children’s stay.
