A brief description of Progress’ business (biofuels):
Progress is engaged in the production of biofuels, an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional energy resources. Its main products include pellets and briquettes made from wood and agricultural waste. The business is focused on the growing demand both in Ukraine and in the EU countries that encourage the use of renewable energy. The main advantages of this business are its export potential, contribution to reducing CO2 emissions, utilization of agricultural and forestry waste, and support for Ukraine’s energy independence.
Support for local resources, optimization of logistics costs, and legislative initiatives to encourage the use of biofuels in the domestic market are important for the development of this business.
