In the city of Zvyagel, the textile company PJSC “Lesya” is successfully developing a joint textile production with the Danish company “Dilling.” Following the fruitful collaboration that began in 2021, the initiative has expanded to create a new textile production facility in Zhytomyr, projected to create 600 jobs.

In November 2021, our team received a request from the Embassy of Denmark in Ukraine to help identify regional sewing companies open to partnering with “Dilling” for joint production.
We promptly reached out to regional companies, including calling the founder of PJSC “Lesya,” Mykola Sychenko. One of the first contacts. Having worked successfully with Mr. Sychenko for several years, we knew his company stood out for its advanced production technology. Within days, we arranged everything necessary for B2B meetings between “Dilling” and local textile companies.
On November 22, 2021, representatives from the Danish Embassy and “Dilling” owner Morten Dilling visited the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration, where B2B meetings took place with regional textile companies. A total of six textile companies from Zhytomyr participated. The following day, the delegation visited the production facilities of PJSC “Lesya” in Zvyagel, leading to the establishment of joint production with “Dilling.” Although the collaboration paused due to security risks at the onset of the full-scale war, it has since resumed, with plans underway to create shared production capacities.
Thus, investment activity includes multiple facets, one of which is fostering business partnerships.
It drives effective results and positively impacts regional enterprise and economic development, as illustrated by this investment case.
