PULP AND PAPER INDUSTRY IN ZHYTOMYR

The pulp and paper industry operates on the basis of processing wood and other plant resources (straw, reeds). The main product is cellulose, various types of paper, and cardboard.

The industry will develop with a combination of the following factors: raw materials, electricity, and water supply.

Let’s pay attention to the production of paper pulp and paper and cardboard products.

Statistics show that in 2019, compared to 2018, there was a 4% increase in “wood products, paper production, and printing”, despite the overall decline in the industry by 6% in 2019.

The average salary in the field of “wood products, paper production, and printing” in Ukraine was 10659 UAH / in December 2019. This was at 86% of the average for the whole economy.

Development and development of the pulp and paper industry are impossible without a sufficient number of employees. Specialists for the pulp and paper industry are trained in the following educational institutions:

Polissya National University (http://znau.edu.ua) – the total number of students is 10,000. The university trains specialists in specialties in the field of forestry: “Horticulture”, “Woodworking Technologies”, “Forestry”.

Malyn Forestry College (https://mltk.co.ua) training of specialists in the following specialties: “Forestry”, “Logging and primary wood processing”, “Wood processing”, “Operation and repair of forest complex equipment”, as well as “Forester”, “Lumberjack”, “Machine operator of woodworking machines”, ” Locksmith repairman.
