Care that gives hope!

Recently, a new building for boys was opened in the village of Nova Borova at the Novoborivsky Children’s Home.
It is a place of warmth, safety, and support for those who need it most.
The project “Care for Every Child” was implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia.
The initiative was launched by the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration.
🤝 The opening ceremony was attended by Anneli Kolk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Ukraine.
Also present were Vitaliy Bunechko, Head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Tetiana Gryshchenko, representatives of the regional administration and the Regional Development Agency, the leadership of the Novoborivska community, as well as patrons and philanthropists.
🏗 Within the project, a 20-bed facility was renovated.
It now provides round-the-clock accommodation for boys with disabilities aged 4 to 18.
Four cozy bedrooms, a recreation room, a rehabilitation room, modern hygiene facilities, and comfortable workplaces for staff have been created.
👦 The institution currently cares for 86 pupils.
They include children and young adults, orphans, and those with different levels of health impairments.
The children study, engage in creativity and sports, undergo rehabilitation, and receive professional support.
Each has an individual development plan.
