Veteran Business Support Programme by PUMB: New Phase

The goal of the programme remains unchanged — to support veterans in starting or developing their own businesses together with their loved ones. However, the programme has now expanded: 40 teams will be selected to participate, and 20 of them will receive grants ranging from UAH 500,000 to 1,000,000.

Who can apply:
Teams of two or more people, led by veterans or active service members with official UBD (Combatant) status. Applicants may already operate a business or only plan to launch one.

Programme benefits include:

  • Modern business education (KSE Business Graduate School);

  • Mentorship support;

  • Consultations (accounting, marketing, PR, etc.);

  • Media support and business promotion;

  • Preferential banking services.

Programme Stages:

  • Application period: June 2–20, 2025

  • Selection of 40 teams based on the following criteria: feasibility and scalability of the business idea, motivation, and presence of a team

  • Training phase (August–October):

    • Online sessions

    • Expert consultations

    • Development of business plans

  • Final (October):

    • Presentation of business plans

    • Selection of 20 winners

The grant amount (up to UAH 1,000,000) will depend on the number of jobs the business plans to create.

Post-grant support:3 months of mentorship for the winning teams

TRIMAI: SetUp Edition Grant Programme

The SetUp Edition of the TRIMAI Grant Programme is aimed at developing youth centres and spaces in Ukraine and engaging adolescents and young people in their work.

Two support lots:

  • Lot 1: Establishment and equipping of Youth Centres/Spaces (YC/YS) + Programmatic activities
    Support for launching or upgrading youth spaces, networking, renovation, furniture, equipment.

  • Lot 2: Programmatic activities only
    Support for centre operations, adolescent engagement, psychosocial support, volunteering, and youth entrepreneurship.

Eligible Applicants:

Officially registered non-profit NGOs working with or establishing YC/YS in the following regions of Ukraine: Zhytomyr, Kyiv, and Chernihiv oblasts.

Funding:

Up to UAH 500,000 per project.
Co-financing is allowed but not required.

2 to 3 months

Cybersecurity Improvement Grants for Central Governmental Authorities and Capacity-Building Institutions of Ukraine

Overview:

The Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF Global) announces a call for grant proposals aimed at central executive bodies of Ukraine and capacity-building institutions, with funding provided by the U.S. Department of State.

💰 Maximum grant amount: up to USD 35,000 (subject to availability of funds)


Project Focus Areas:

Applicants may submit proposals in the following areas:

  • Cybersecurity and improvements in material-technical infrastructure;

  • Data protection and cyber threat analysis;

  • Coordination and enhanced access to international analytical resources for information exchange;

  • Legislative work and standardization in the field of cybersecurity.


Possible Types of Activities:

  • Procurement of equipment, software, and services;

  • Optimization of cybersecurity systems/processes;

  • Implementation of updates and security measures in institutions;

  • Cybersecurity training and capacity-building for staff.


Mandatory Proposal Components:

  • A clear problem statement and proposed solution;

  • Definition of critical resources/data to be protected and justification for needs;

  • Expected results;

  • A list of equipment/software/services with technical specifications and available alternatives;

  • Budget in UAH with USD equivalent (including VAT, delivery, and installation);

  • At least one commercial offer from a potential supplier;

  • CV of the project coordinator (Principal Investigator).

⚠️ NOTE: If a specific brand/model is selected, detailed technical justification must be provided.


Eligible Applicants:

  • Central government bodies and institutions focused on cybersecurity resilience;

  • Must demonstrate justified needs for equipment/software/services;

  • Must provide a detailed budget;

  • Must include at least one commercial offer.

🎯 Grant Objective

To amplify the voices of national communities in Ukraine, create space for them in the public cultural sphere, and promote intercultural dialogue. The residencies must focus on national minorities of Ukraine and cultural cooperation.

💶 What the Programme Offers:

  • Up to €16,000 for the implementation of an artistic residency;

  • Full flexibility in choosing the topic, format, and duration;

  • Opportunity to implement the project in Ukraine or an EU country;

  • Implementation and promotion support from the House of Europe team.

🧩 Who Can Apply?

Partnerships (tandems) between:

  • A Ukrainian organization (NGO, cultural centre, residency, etc.);

  • A cultural institute from the EU (e.g. Goethe-Institut, British Council, Institut Français, etc.).

Each partner must:

  • Be a registered legal entity;

  • Have experience implementing cultural projects/residencies;

  • Show a clear interest in the topic of national communities.

Programme Cycle:

This is a rolling call. Applications are accepted monthly, until 15:00 on the last day of each month. Grants will be awarded until the entire fund is used up.

Youth for Peace: Intercultural Leadership Programme by UNESCO

Empowering Young Leaders through Intercultural Dialogue

Youth for Peace is a UNESCO initiative designed to equip young leaders with the knowledge, skills, and resources to use intercultural dialogue as a tool for addressing global challenges.

Theme for the 1st edition:
“Learning to Collaborate for Our Common Future: Using Dialogue to Strengthen Social Cohesion in a Changing World.”

🔹 What the Programme Offers

1. Capacity Building

  • Online training sessions on intercultural leadership, project development, and solution design.

  • A continuous learning and exchange platform to support knowledge retention after training.

  • Mentorship and peer-learning: Regular check-ins, coaching, and community of practice.

2. Project Funding

  • Participants will submit project proposals for local initiatives after the training.

  • Each selected project will receive a $10,000 grant for implementation.

  • Ongoing mentorship and learning support during the project execution phase.

3. Global Community and Long-Term Impact

  • Join the Global Alumni Network of the programme.

  • Participate in the Global Youth Dialogue for Peace Forum, alongside policymakers and experts.

  • Gain access to UNESCO tools, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Contribute to the Global Observatory of Intercultural Dialogue Actions.

Tentative Timeline

  • September 2025: Online training sessions

  • October 2025: Project proposal submission and grant awards

  • November 2025 – May 2026: Project implementation, training, and mentorship

  • April 2026: Final Forum in Guangzhou, China

  • May 2026: Final report submission

  • Post-May 2026: Continued involvement in the alumni network and UNESCO initiatives

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be 25–45 years old as of 1 September 2025.

  • Have proven leadership experience in their field.

  • Demonstrate commitment to intercultural dialogue and social impact.

  • Be ready to implement a project in their local community.

  • Be available for all phases of the programme.

Projects must:

  • Align with the theme “Learning to Collaborate for Our Common Future”

  • Be implemented over 6 months

  • Be of local or national scope
