Government Support Programs for Farmers

Opportunities for government support are available for agricultural enterprises in Ukraine to develop their agricultural activities. To find current opportunities for farmers, we recommend visiting the State Agrarian Register website. Below is a list of relevant programs:

  1. “Made in Ukraine” Compensation for Agricultural Machinery
    Farmers can receive a 25% compensation for the cost of agricultural machinery produced in Ukraine. To qualify, the farmer must choose a supplier from the list on the Ministry of Economy’s website, purchase the necessary equipment, and submit an application along with supporting documents to an authorized bank.   2. Budget Subsidy for Maintaining Cattle
    Officially registered farms in Ukraine that keep between 3 and 100 cows can receive a subsidy of 7,000 UAH per cow. Applications for subsidies can be submitted through the State Agrarian Register. Application instructions. This program is ongoing.
  3. Partial Reimbursement for Breeding Animals, Bees, Sperm, and Embryos
    More details. The required documentation must be submitted to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy by October 10.
  4. Separate Budget Subsidy per Hectare of Agricultural Land
    A subsidy of 8,000 UAH per hectare will be provided to agricultural producers who own or use up to 120 hectares of agricultural land in areas where combat operations have concluded and temporary occupation has ended. Details here.
