In Zviahel city, the PJSC “Lesya” sewing enterprise is currently successfully developing joint textile production with the Danish company Dilling. The continuation of the successful cooperation between the two companies, which has been ongoing since 2021, was the initiative to create a new textile production in the city of Zhytomyr, which in the future will ensure the creation of 600 jobs.
It is extremely gratifying that our team was at the origins of this collaboration.
In November 2021, our team received a request from the Embassy of Denmark in Ukraine regarding the search for regional sewing enterprises. That would be ready for cooperation and joint production with the Dilling company.
We immediately started communication with the enterprises of the region. We were one of the first to call the founder of the “Lesya” company, Mykola Sychenko, because we had been working successfully with Mr. Mykola for several years and knew that the company was famous for its modern production technologies. In a few days, we prepared everything necessary for holding B2B meetings between the company “Dilling” and the sewing enterprises of the region.
On November 22, 2021, representatives of the Danish Embassy and Morten Dilling, owner of Dilling, visited the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration. They held B2B meetings with regional textile companies. In general, representatives of 6 textile enterprises of the Zhytomyr region took part in B2B meetings. And on November 23, the delegation visited the production facilities of PrJSC “Lesya” in the city of Zviagel. The result of this visit was the start of joint production between PrJSC “Lesia” and the company “Dilling”.
In 2022, a partnership was established between PrJSC “Lesya” and the company “Dilling”, a joint production line was opened on the basis of PrJSC “Lesya” in the city of Zvyagel. And already in 2023, a joint textile production of two companies was opened in Zhytomyr. The company manufactures clothes, including children’s, according to the best European technologies. Consultative support for the project was provided by the Regional Development Agency of the Zhytomyr Region.
