Yesterday, a Polish-Ukrainian Business Forum was held in Zhytomyr 🇺🇦🇲🇨
A delegation of Polish partners visited Zhytomyr region to attend the forum. The delegation included: the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine, Bartosz Cichocki; the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Vinnytsia, Damian Ciarciński; the Director of the Kyiv Office of the Polish Trade and Investment Agency, Karol Kubica; and other distinguished guests.
The forum was attended by leaders of the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration, Zhytomyr City Council, representatives of local communities, and members of regional and Polish businesses.
Our team also joined the forum to discuss the current state and promising tools for establishing cooperation between regional and Polish businesses.
The Polish partners presented the project “Polish Reconstruction Service of Ukraine,” which will be implemented by the Warsaw Enterprise Institute, aimed at supporting the economic recovery of our country, particularly through Polish-Ukrainian economic cooperation.
Detailed information about the project is available at: https://odbudowaukrainy.org.pl/
The service can assist with issues such as: – helping establish contacts with Polish entrepreneurs and companies – presenting existing tools to support Polish-Ukrainian economic cooperation – informing Polish companies about investment proposals and opportunities.
The project covers eight regions of Ukraine, including the Zhytomyr region, and involves implementing measures to establish contacts and cooperation between Ukrainian and Polish businesses. Three contact points have been established in Ukraine to implement the project. Coordination of activities in the Zhytomyr region will be managed by the Contact Point in Vinnytsia; contacts: vinnytsia@wei.org.pl.
We once again thank our Polish partners for their new initiatives to develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
The Director of the WEI Office in Kyiv, Józef Lang (Józef Lang, +380 97 44 830 02, jlang@wei.org.pl), is responsible for the overall activities of the Polish Reconstruction Service of Ukraine.
